What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher - School + Bite (Catering Kitchen) position at Eclipse Catering & Events?
Seeking a candidate who can work 9:30am-2pm every Tuesday-Friday at one of our local schools, and then every Friday or Saturday evening assisting in the Catering Kitchen - Bite.
Responsibilities:
- Energetic team player who understands the essentials of restaurant kitchen maintenance
- Working various shifts
- Clean and manage the kitchen space to ensure a safe, sanitary, and productive work environment
- Maintain the cleanliness of dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
- Manage trash, cardboard, and recycling materials
- Handle kitchen equipment and clean spills throughout the shift
- Assist kitchen staff with closing procedures and prep duties by sanitizing cook stations
Skills:
- Food Handlers certification required or ability to obtain
- Candidate must pass a background check
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
