Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
Part Time Job Training in March, full time hours in April.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and accuracy.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Process payments using cash register systems efficiently while ensuring accuracy in transactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
