Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, the Sr. Manager of Gaming Compliance will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships externally with Tribal and State Gaming Regulatory Authorities (TGRA’s), Operations and Independent Testing Laboratories as well as fostering strong regulatory and technical compliance relationships within all departments at Eclipse Gaming Systems.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Establish and maintain consistent relationships with TGRA’s and understand all technical, regulatory and shipping compliance rules and regulations as well as internal controls
  • Lead all product submissions to Independent, State or Tribal testing laboratories
  • Ensure all product submissions to TGRA’s are dispatched in accordance with known guidelines and all associated information, software and devices are correctly documented and provided as appropriate
  • Respond in a timely manner to questions and issues from TGRA’s related to gaming and system products in the live casino environment, or in testing with an Independent Testing Laboratory
  • Review and approve all Independent Laboratory reports
  • Develop and display a deep understanding of all Eclipse products, gaming practices and regulations by meeting with all departments within the company
  • Work with product development teams to ensure all applicable technical and regulatory jurisdictional requirements are met and adhered to
  • Provide regulatory and technical compliance guidance to all internal departments as and when needed or required
  • Work with Quality Assurance to review and assess testing requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Applicable knowledge of Tribal and State gaming regulations, internal controls and product submission requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Class II and Class III Gaming systems and hardware
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle process
  • Knowledge of software quality assurance concepts, practices and procedures
  • Knowledge and experience in software bug tracking software
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
  • Strongly desired :

    A working or strong knowledge of the following areas :

  • Historical Horse Racing
  • Charitable Gaming markets
  • Online Gaming markets
  • Gaming software and peripheral devices
  • Casino accounting systems
  • Development and implementation processes of varied gaming manufacturers
  • Qualifications :

  • A degree in a computer-related field, such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), Quality Assurance (QA), or Project / Product Management.
  • OR a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience within the casino gaming industry, including but not limited to :
  • Tribal or commercial casino operations

  • Testing laboratories (tribal, state, or independent)
  • Casino gaming manufacturing.
