About the Role - Preferred locations for this role include: Atlanta, Georgia; Las Vegas, Nevada; or Austin, Texas. Travel will be required. Casino gaming experience is required to be considered for this role. Remote candidates with an appropriate background will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Create innovative game math models and pitch concepts to be implemented into an internal casino gaming platform.
- Work with Game Engineers and Artists to implement game elements based on design documentation and gameplay feedback.
- Work directly with Math Group Manager to execute work as envisioned.
- Use probability and combinatorics to develop gaming math models.
- Continually build knowledge of casino gaming trends with regular casino visits and slot play.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science or a related field.
- 3 years of Math experience.
- 3 years of experience in MS Visual Studio and C# programing.
- Ability to read and understand pre-existing code bases.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in designing game math models.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Proficient in managing their objectives within set schedules.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile development.
- Experience working with version control systems such as GIT, SVN, etc.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Sharepoint.
- Casino Gaming experience a plus.
- Unity experience a plus.
