What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving position at Eclipse Outdoor?
Eclipse Outdoor, is the industry leading manufacturer of custom made shade products, located in Middletown NY . We offer a friendly, team orientated working environment with the opportunity for advancement in our growing company.
Shipping/Receiving :
- Reading the pick ticket for each order and gathering all the parts required.
- Boxing the product with care, using fanfold, protective pillows and corner boards
- Loading the product with a partner onto the destination truck.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use a tape measure
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs, (Team Lifts)
- Entry level welcome, will train the right person. Great opportunity to learn as you earn!
- Ability to work indoors (in a warehouse setting) in hot/cold temperatures
- Reliable transportation
Skills/Abilities:
- Be a team player that is willing to assist in various warehouse responsibilities
- Willingness to uphold high standards of quality and be very detail-oriented
- Ability to follow directions
- Reliable with a proven attendance record
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
