My client has been around for over 25 years and operates as a SAAS solution enterprise, focused on automated channel marketing. Clients include Google, IBM, and other big technology companies.
The company comprises best-of-class professionals who are pioneers in the industry. The company has recently been acquired by a well-known PE firm that invests purely in high-growth FinTech entities. With such an event, the company is looking to hire a controller to report to the CFO.

The ideal candidate has successfully scaled financial operations in a PE-backed or VC-backed SaaS company and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
As a key partner to the CEO, CFO, and board, you will bring strategic financial leadership, ensure operational rigor, and implement processes that drive accurate forecasting, financial transparency, and growth. You are hands-on, results-driven, and passionate about building a scalable financial foundation for a $10M-$25M ARR SaaS company.
Job Description:
● Partner with the CEO, CFO, executive team, and board to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
● Drive financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Operational Finance
● Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
● Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and reporting.
● Maintain and optimize internal controls, financial systems, and reporting processes. SaaS-Specific Metrics
● Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
● Mentor and train junior finance staff to scale the function as the company grows. Compliance & Risk Management
● Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements.
Required:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
● Experience: 6-8 years in accounting and finance support within a SaaS or technology company.
● Led finance functions in a PE or VC-backed SaaS company
● CPA or equivalent highly preferred
● Public audit experience is preferred but not required
Salary:
● 150-175k base depending on skill set, experience, qualification, and location
