Job Summary:
As a Floor Supervisor, you will lead a team of 20 VR guides. Under the guidance of the General Manager and Assistant Manager, your role is to ensure a smooth and exceptional guest experience, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service. Success in this role is measured by daily profitability, visitor reviews, the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with situational flexibility, leadership, and an owner's mindset.
Responsibilities:
Team Creation and Management:
- Maintain the highest standard of service and user experience.
- Participate in recruiting and training a team that is passionate and customer focused.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and performance.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork.
- Assist the ASM during team meetings to communicate goals, share updates, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as a Manager On-Duty by overseeing and coordinating Front of the House staff.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
Operational Excellence:
- Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staffing, resource allocation, and stock monitoring.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to promptly address any technical issues.
- Perform opening/closing duties.
- Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned with a hands-on attitude.
Guest Experience:
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the customer journey to create an exceptional experience.
- Ensure efficient and friendly customer service at all touch points, from check-in to departure.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and propose necessary changes.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of service industry experience required in a visitor attraction, theme park, museum, hotel, or fast-paced retail environment.
- A self-motivated, strong leader with a proven record of accomplishment of supervising operational teams.
- A passion for providing excellent guest experiences is critical.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multitask as necessary.
- Extensive knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word); familiarity with ticketing systems and POS (Point of Sale) highly preferred.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on VR and customer service.
- Must be flexible and able to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
