Position Overview:
The Enterprise Solutions Sales Consultant will identify and secure new business opportunities in the ECM vertical, working closely with enterprise clients to address complex ECM needs. This role requires a strong consultative approach, the ability to respond to RFPs, and expertise in drafting contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs). The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage the sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution, working collaboratively with internal consulting and technical teams to deliver tailored, high-value solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and target prospective clients in ECM-focused industries such as healthcare, insurance, and finance to generate new business opportunities.
- Consultative Selling: Develop a deep understanding of client requirements and challenges to position ECM Tek’s services as comprehensive, solution-based offerings.
- RFP Management: Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including drafting detailed, persuasive responses that highlight ECM Tek's capabilities and value proposition.
- Contracts & SOW Drafting: Draft, review, and finalize contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with the legal and technical teams, ensuring alignment with client expectations and compliance with internal standards.
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients by providing consistent, consultative support throughout the sales and post-sale phases.
- Collaboration with Technical Teams: Partner with consulting and technical teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals, facilitating a seamless transition from sales to project execution.
- Sales Strategy & Reporting: Achieve or exceed sales goals and contribute to sales strategy development through market feedback and analysis. Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in B2B sales, with a minimum of 3 years focused on ECM or a similar technology vertical. Experience in RFP responses, contract negotiation, and SOW creation is essential.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of ECM solutions and services, with insights into the unique needs of industries such as healthcare and insurance.
- Sales Skills: Proven consultative selling skills with a successful track record of managing long sales cycles and closing complex deals.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey technical information to various stakeholders.
- Contract Management: Strong experience drafting and negotiating contracts, SOWs, and other legal documents, with an eye for detail and risk management.
- Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated experience working alongside technical and consulting teams to develop high-value, client-focused proposals.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
- Technical Familiarity: Familiarity with ECM platforms, such as OpenText, is highly desirable.
