SUMMARY
This position plays a pivotal role ensuring a positive workplace environment and alignment with company policies and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of HR laws, and the ability to handle both strategic and administrative HR tasks effectively.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (general but not limited to)
Human Resources: Point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns; talent recruitment and acquisition including creating job descriptions, managing job postings, resume screening, interview processes, and offer negotiations; onboarding of new hires; reporting new hires to all necessary authorities; stay current on employment laws and regulations; development of company policies and procedures; personnel files and recordkeeping; support the company's performance management processes; support management team with employee matters including disciplinary issues and life events; maintain employee time off usage and availability; develop and facilitate employee engagement efforts; and assists with benefits administration.
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Address employee concerns and grievances, escalating as necessary.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring processes.
- Employee Relations
- Address employee concerns and grievances, escalating as necessary.
- Support managers in resolving workplace conflicts and fostering collaboration.
- Compensation and Benefits
- Address employee questions related to compensation and benefits and visa status.
- Assist in the annual benefits renewal process.
- Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Maintain and update employee records in compliance with legal requirements.
- Performance Management
- Support the implementation of performance appraisal processes.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives.
- Policy Development and Implementation
- Contribute to the creation and revision of HR policies and procedures.
- Communicate policy updates to employees and managers.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Degree in related field or 3 years of relevant work experience.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, notably Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
· Must be English fluent. Spanish and/or French speaking would be very beneficial.
