Job Summary
The Grants Management Associate is responsible for the day-to-day grant operation processes and supports the Foundation’s grantmaking system (Fluxx). This position provides assistance at every stage of the grant lifecycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct due diligence on submitted Letters of Intent (LOIs); follow up with applicants on missing/incomplete information or other application anomalies
Maintain the integrity of the grants management system by ensuring data is timely, complete, updated, and accurate
Execute the administration of grants by preparing grant award letters and grant agreements, requesting ACH payment, and documenting grant modifications
Collaborate with leadership to coordinate grants management processes, including oversight of pre-and post-award data management and communications
Collaborate with leadership to periodically review and revise, as appropriate, grants management processes for continuous improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness
Provide support to applicants and grantees
Assist in the preparation of materials for meetings when necessary
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience working in complex data systems (i.e., Fluxx, Salesforce) OR High School Degree/GED and 5 years of experience working in complex data systems
3 years of experience executing and influencing improvements in processes and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Acrobat, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a team environment, as well as independently or with little supervision
Demonstrated ability to execute complex work through strong organizational skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, and creative problem-solving
Experience working independently to achieve goals and deliver work product
Proven work experience highlighting strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in grants management systems
Experience working in philanthropy
Experience working in the postsecondary education landscape

Salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector and geographic location.
