LUXURY CONSIGNMENT CASHIER
MY SISTER'S CLOSET

My Sister's Closet has been in business since doors opened in 1991. We consign luxury designer brand clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories, it's a great way for the consignor to make extra cash and the shopper to find great pieces of high-end fashion at an excellent price.
Our cashier role includes greeting our clientele when entering and leaving the store. Keeping the cashier area clean and organized at all times. Our desired candidate must be able to handle cash transactions, credit card payments and store credit transactions. The cashier is the last interaction in our clientele shopping experience, providing excellent customer service to promote satisfaction is essential. The candidate must also be able to handle non-escalated customer concerns.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support our Sales Associates to serve their clientele by providing cashier service and support.
- Handle payment transactions such as cash, credit card and store credit with a high level of compliance and accuracy.
- Assist reconciliation of daily sales, verifying amounts at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Be able to input transaction and customer information in our customer data base.
- Assist in preparing a daily cashier report when asked.
- Help in other areas of the store when needed.
- Always work closely with your store team.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of cashiering experience in luxury retail or clothing retail.
- Knowledge of operating cash register /POS.
- Excellent business math skills, detail oriented, integrity and diligent in payment handling.
- High-level of compliance and credibility.
- Professional appearance
- PC Knowledge including MS Office, Google, Safari.
- Working weekends and holidays is required.
- Must be able to the complete: lift, carry up to 30lbs. Bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and repetitive motions.
