General Laborer job summary

.We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks such as assembling, fabricating, and operating power tools and hand tools. This is a great opportunity to work for a construction company and gain valuable experience.Y ou'll take direction from the project foreman to help prepare job sites, load and unload construction materials, remove debris, assist team members, and perform any other general labor needed to get the job done right. You should be great at following instructions, with a can-do attitude

Responsibilities:

- Assist with assembling and fabricating products according to specifications

- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks

- Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles

- Move materials on sites using forklifts or other equipment (Must be Certified)

- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

- Perform general maintenance tasks as needed

Experience:

- Previous experience working with power tools and hand tools is preferred

- Mechanical knowledge is a plus

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is beneficial

- Familiarity with construction operations is an advantage

Skills:

- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools

- Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn is a bonus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
