Job Description:

As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support the marketing department by participating in the planning, organization, and execution of company marketing activities, including internal marketing
• Undertake administrative tasks to ensure the organization and coordination of the department’s activities, including participating in vendor relationships
• Coordinate or manage various campaign projects and events
• Participate in home service industry market research, data analysis, traditional and digital advertising mediums, online lead generation platforms, reputation management, internal marketing communications, and event management
• Assist with marketing programs across mediums including TV, radio, outdoor, direct mail, website, email, social media, online lead generation, and events

• Bachelor's in Marketing, a minimum of 1 year of marketing experience
• Thorough understanding of marketing principles
• Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
• Customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently, as well as work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to share your ideas freely and ask questions to get up to speed quickly
• Motivation and desire to work effectively and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
• Capability of being detail-oriented and prioritizing workflow, following up, and managing time efficiently
• Willingness to learn about residential plumbing, electrical, and HVAC services for a company that is highly customer-centric and goal-driven and based in multiple markets in Ohio
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Canva or Adobe Creative software knowledge or other creative software a plus
• Experience in Communication; Project Management; Event Coordination; Social Media; Creative Arts (Design/Photography/Video capabilities a plus)
• Ability to establish and maintain timelines and related budgeting activities preferred
