We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team at [Hotel Name]. As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring that guests experience a welcoming and comfortable stay. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and has a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize hotel rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing toiletries.
- Ensure all guest rooms are properly stocked with necessary items such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items.
- Clean and maintain public areas, such as hallways, restrooms, lobbies, and elevators.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage in guest rooms or common areas to the appropriate department.
- Remove and dispose of trash from guest rooms and public spaces.
- Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or services in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety and cleanliness standards, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage areas and carts.
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 30 pounds).
- Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time and bend, kneel, or stoop as needed.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts as required.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
