We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team. As part of our maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring that the hotel operates smoothly by performing a variety of basic maintenance tasks. Skills Required:
- Preventative maintenance experience
- Basic maintenance skills (painting, basic repairs, etc.)
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to change filters
- Pool chemical maintenance
- Ability to perform basic toilet repairs
- Caulking and sealant application
- Carpet shampooing experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Job Description:
As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform basic maintenance tasks across the hotel. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Painting and touch-ups in guest rooms and common areas
- Performing basic toilet repairs
- Changing HVAC filters to maintain air quality
- Maintaining proper pool chemical balance
- Applying caulking and sealants to prevent leaks and water damage
- Shampooing carpets and ensuring cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas
- Following all safety guidelines and hotel procedures
- Record and report completed maintenance tasks and any findings that require further attention in Quore
- Replacing batteries in door locks and programming hotel door lock system
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- May be asked to perform other duties as needed during shifts
- Reports to Rooms Division Manager
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hotel setting
- Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks
- Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be flexible to work varying shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Availability:
The position requires flexibility and availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to ensure the hotel operates smoothly around the clock.
