Duties:
- Safely operate a truck to transport goods or materials to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload cargo as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents that occur
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in route driving, paratransit, school bus driving, shuttle driving, or heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
