Ecology Field Technician

We are looking to fill two temporary, full-time Field Technician positions to help us in our mission of inspiring science, learning, and community in and beyond Acadia National Park.

Ecology Field Technicians will engage in various projects focused on intertidal research, biodiversity monitoring, and involving citizen scientists in research and monitoring (and the overlap of them all). Technicians will be responsible for recording field data, collecting and processing samples, and assisting with programs at Schoodic Institute and partner projects. Technicians will work together and collaborate, as well as with other early-career and Schoodic Institute and National Park Service staff.

These positions are entry-level, and appropriate training will be provided for all the primary responsibilities.
