Process and Environmental Engineer

Description

• Design, troubleshoot and optimize processes within Wafer Fab and other production areas.
• Interface with vendors on the installation and modification of new capital equipment.
• Prepare environmental documents and reports required by various internal parties, governmental agencies, and customers including hazardous waste (RCRA), community right- to-know, air quality, wastewater, and restricted chemical lists.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and standards related to hazardous waste produced by operations.
• Collect and analyze data in support of continuous improvement and sustainability activities.
• Draft and revise standard procedures and work instructions.
• Provide active support to production operations.
• Assist in job hazard analyses on current and proposed operations in Wafer Fab to identify safety risks and work with engineers and unit Supervisors on their mitigation.
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
  
  

Position Requirements

B.S. in Chemical Engineer or similar field. 0-3 years of industrial experience. High attention to detail and very organized. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
