Key Responsibilities
- Solar Panel Installation: Perform the physical installation of solar panels, mounting systems, and associated components on residential or commercial roofs, ground-mounted arrays, or other designated locations.
- Electrical Wiring: Connect solar panels to inverters and electrical systems following design specifications and safety protocols. Ensure proper wiring, grounding, and testing of systems.
- Roof Assessment: Evaluate the condition of roofs and structures to determine their suitability for solar panel installation. Identify any necessary repairs or reinforcements.
- Equipment Handling: Safely handle, transport, and install solar panels, inverters, mounting hardware, and other equipment. Use proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent damage.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks during and after installation to ensure that all components are securely and accurately installed. Address any issues promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations on job sites, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices. Report safety concerns or incidents immediately.
- Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate records of installation activities, including photographs, measurements, and equipment serial numbers. Ensure proper documentation for warranty purposes.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the installation process.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on existing solar energy systems as needed. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to ensure optimal system performance.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in solar panel installation or a related field is preferred but not required.
