- Basic physical fitness to perform lifting, bending, and repetitive motions as needed.
- Greet patrons in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, locker rooms, and other aquatic facility areas.
- Set up and take down equipment for aquatic programs, swim lessons, and recreational activities.
- Assist lifeguards with monitoring pool areas for safety concerns and help enforce facility rules when needed.
- Restock supplies, such as towels, cleaning materials, and safety equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or broken equipment to supervisors promptly.
- Support patrons by answering questions and providing information about facility programs and policies.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as skimming pools, vacuuming, and checking pool chemical levels under supervision.
- Provide backup support for front desk staff during busy periods, such as greeting patrons or processing admissions.
- Collaborate with lifeguards and aquatic instructors to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- 16 Years or older
- Previous experience in customer service or facility maintenance is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of pool operations and equipment (preferred, but not required).
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (required within 30 days of employment).
- Ability to push, pull, or lift 25-50 pounds (frequently), 100 pounds (rarely).
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time in varying outside air temperatures and climate conditions.
- While performing duties of this job, employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, jump, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Ability to walk, run, jump, or stand on uneven terrain.
- Work involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks associated with responding to aquatic emergencies.
- Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, chemicals, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
Salary : $13 - $15
