EcoEdge Landscaping is an environmentally-conscious landscaping business dedicated to providing high-quality, sustainable outdoor services. Established a few years ago, EcoEdge was recently restructured under new management to improve operational efficiency and streamline service delivery. We offer services from Mulching/Weeding/Edging to Planting & Fertilization. Being a small business, we focus on fostering a close-knit team and competitive nature with our employees. Whether this be achieved through performance-based incentives, talking smack, or company outings, we like to make sure our team is not only growing professionally, but personally as well.
In addition to this, we set ourselves apart by utilizing energy efficient techniques, electric tools, and eco-friendly materials to ensure we deliver a sustainable, but high quality solution to the over polluted industry of exterior home cleaning. The business focuses on environmentally safe cleaning methods, ensuring that all solutions used are non-toxic, biodegradable, and energy-efficient.
Job Summary:
This is a seasonal job. We operate according to the landscaping season which runs from roughly, early March to late October. We begin in mid/late February to allow for a hot start into the season. We currently have no office, therefore all operations including, interview and meetings will be virtual.
Schedule: Part-Time - 22.5 hours per week
Tuesday-Friday: 3:30pm-7:30pm
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am-4:00pm
21 hours in the field Meetings for training & general performance check-up
Pay Type: Full Commission
Average performers make $23/hr
Top performers make $44 /hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential clients while field marketing.
- Tailor and pitch sales proposals to individual client needs.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Attentively track manual tasks, leads, and analytics using CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience is not required however is preferred, especially in landscaping or a related industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Age Requirement: 16 years old / Valid working papers in New Jersey
