What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at EcoGuard Pest Management?
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Customer Service Representative I under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine support activities in the customer service function. Responsible for promoting and maintaining positive customer relations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support the overall function of the customer service team and assist other Customer Service Representatives as needed. * Receives and handles inbound phone calls addressing customers questions and needs, while ensuring the best service possible. * Interacts with customers; give information in response to inquiries about accounts, products, and services. * Assist with scheduling appointments for new and return customers, as well as assist with special scheduling needs. * Actively keeps phone line on during scheduled shift. * Develops and regularly maintain a knowledge base regarding EcoGuard’s evolving products and services. * Assist with managing and responding to voicemails and/or customer call backs. * Contact customers to resolve any service/scheduling discrepancies and/or complaints. Escalate complaints to management as needed. * Interact with other departments to ensure delivery of services and/or account billing needs. * Manage individual company email and respond to all emails within a timely manner. * Work on alerts that come in as needed. Monthly alert completion should, on average, be between 880-1760 alerts completed. * Other duties and projects as assigned by management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent * 0-6 months customer service experience * Experience using Microsoft Office products * Previous experience with Google Docs and Sheets preferred

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to manage multiply projects at once * Ability to work in a team environment * Strong organizational and people skills

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, twist and turn body. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds, as well as pushing or pulling items with a force of up to 5 pounds.
This position does require the ability to perform under stressful conditions and high-volume demands.
