The primary focus of this role is accurate material handling, inventory tracking, and cycle count functions. Tracks physical inventory, runs inventory reports, and conducts audits on inventory documentation to ensure accuracy. Manages the proper work-off or disposal of materials and tracks the disposition purpose. Assists in daily activities such as labeling/counting/planning. Utilizes SAP as an inventory management system, audits production receipts and receiving amounts to ensure accuracy of SAP and clears SAP error logs. Trains personnel on SAP transactions including inventory and warehouse management systems. Takes an active role in WMS implementation and sustainment of the system. Follows all safety and plant procedures and policies.

What You Will Do:

  • Complete cycle counts and reconciliations
  • Run various reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis including morning production reports, weekly cycle counting reports, and monthly variance reports
  • Conduct audits on production sheets and other pertinent inventory documents to verify accuracy
  • Manage off-spec and old material to ensure proper work-off or disposal of material, conduct scrapping of materials, and track the disposition purpose
  • Coordinate and lead physical inventories
  • Help with sampling efforts from the Materials Control side
  • Count and review label stock to ensure proper stock
  • Keep track of pallet counts and order pallets when needed
  • Assist in daily activities including labeling, counting, planning, etc. as needed.
  • Manage virtual inventories and shipments in SAP, audit production receipts and receiving amounts to verify accuracy in SAP, clear SAP error logs, and train personnel on SAP transactions including inventory and warehouse management systems.
  • Active role in the WMS implementation and sustainment of the system
  • Follow all safety and plant procedures and policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Details:

  • Plant location: Bedford Park, IL (Clearing)
  • Work week and shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Compensation offered: $24.00/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience working in supply chain, inventory management, logistics, production, or warehouse setting
  • Forklift certification
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain operations or related field
  • Knowledge of SAP or inventory systems
  • Excel and Power BI experience
  • 3 years of cycle counting experience

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $47,500.00 - $71,300.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
