What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at EcoLab?

- Location: St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL with a hybrid work schedule
- Travel: Up to 10% of the time
What You Will Do:
- Own the data viewpoint within architectural design process: provide vision and guidance for data capability and value. Be part of a critical team charged with delivery of digital solution design at a consistently high level
- Perform key thought leadership in areas of data design: modeling, gap analysis, integration strategy, and data discovery
- Define service commitment standards via SLO publication and ownership
- Develop strategic roadmaps for the successful on-boarding of critical enterprise data sets
- Collaborate with business and product teams to develop effective governance strategies around sensitive data
- Contribute to the evaluation of emerging data solutions and strategic vendors
- Contribute to the creation of processes for improving data quality across the enterprise
- Ability to work independently, establish objectives, and communicate project plans and milestones
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with 2 years of data analysis experience
- Experience delivering data analysis and solution modeling for digital products and capabilities
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure
- Experience with data and scripting languages, such as SQL and Python
- Understanding of business processes, especially finance and enterprise performance metrics
- Understanding of data design strategies

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of reporting tools, especially PowerBI and ThoughtSpot
- Experience using cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake
- Experience with data catalog solutions, preferably Alation
- Understanding of Azure Data Factory (ADF) or Fivetran data pipeline implementations
- Understanding of data classification models, vulnerability analysis, and threat mitigation strategies
- Desire to advance career in data leadership at enterprise level
