Logistics Specialist (6-Month Contract, Hybrid - Eagan, MN)
💼 Contract: 6 Months (Potential to Extend or Convert to Permanent)
📍 Hybrid (Tuesdays & Thursdays in Eagan, MN)
💰 Pay: $21-$23/hour
⏰ Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM CST
Are you an organized, analytical professional with strong communication skills and a passion for logistics? Join our team as a Logisitics Specialist and help optimize international export operations!
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Manage North America Export Warehouse schedule and capacity (Ecolab/Nalco).
🔹 Represent the International Logistics team in daily operational meetings with warehouses.
🔹 Analyze export shipments from delivery creation to PGI and prepare meeting materials.
🔹 Communicate and follow up with internal and external customers regarding export shipment exceptions and delays.
🔹 Manage the Ocean Control Tower inbox, addressing escalations and troubleshooting issues.
🔹 Support other central operations tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
✅ Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based applications.
✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
✅ Excellent communication skills.
✅ Associate’s degree or higher (preferred degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or Transportation).
Preferred Skills:
➕ Experience with SAP and TMS systems.
➕ Background in an international logistics environment.
➕ Knowledge of hazmat regulations (DOT, IMO, IATA).
➕ Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
