Job Summary:
Assemble, manufacture, disassemble, repair, sort, and inspect small soap-dispensing units and larger sub-assembly machines according to exact specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble light mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic components to exact specifications
- Perform simple hydraulic and electrical checks to ensure proper equipment function
- Conduct assigned re-manufacturing operations including disassembly, minor repairs, sorting, cleaning, polishing, inspection, and re-assembly
- Work from process and specifications sheets
- Accurately process necessary paperwork related to labor reporting and record keeping
- Utilize TPM tools to improve safety, efficiency, increase service to customers, and reduce costs
- Proactively communicate maintenance needs, quality issues, or other situations impacting safety, quality, or productivity to the appropriate leader
- Ensure constant communication with management on daily activities and losses
- Assist in training teammates
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience with hand and power tools a plus
- Basic math skills and ability to lift/carry 50lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods and pass a drug screen/physical exam
