Ecolab is seeking a QC Lab Technician at our Kennesaw Manufacturing Plant to engage in product development, product line maintenance, and test method maintenance activities.

What You Will Do:
- Sampling, testing, and releasing of raw materials, in-process materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Performing data collection and analysis for stability and retains product testing.
- Labeling items with product name, batch information, and acceptance-rejection status based on conformance to specifications.
- Accurately documenting all necessary and relevant information in a working laboratory notebook as per cGMPs.
- Using ERP system to transfer materials between warehouses to properly maintain the electronic records of parts, batches, and materials. This work includes product name, batch information, weight, and counts to assist with inventory control.
- Monitoring in-process production and using specifications and statistical tools to communicate effectively with production personnel about the quality of parts.
- Generating and maintaining Certificates of Analysis without errors.
- Demonstrating quantitative abilities, including liquid transfer and burette operation for chemical titrations.
- Under guidance, assisting with experimental design and product research.
- Writing technical reports or preparing graphs or charts to document data analysis and results.
- Communicating in a timely manner with the QA Manager about all quality holds, deviations, and/or rejections.
- Properly operating, calibrating, and maintaining measuring equipment, including scales, pH meters, NIRS, and Uv-Vis Spectrophotometer.
- Cleaning and maintaining work area for cleanliness and safety.
- Performing any other reasonable duty that may be asked of the employee; such as training other lab positions, assisting with ongoing laboratory projects, participating in ongoing personal development opportunities, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- 1 year of experience working in a lab environment
- No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.S./B.A degree in Chemistry or Science
- Experience working with statistical software
- Practical understanding of chemistry
- Attention to detail and quality in results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Must work well with other team members, including design engineers
