We are seeking a passionate and creative Visual Designer to join the Ecology Action Marketing team on a part-time, temporary basis for a term of 6-months.

About the Role
The Visual Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling and effective designs that align with Ecology Action's brands and mission. This position works closely with various departments to produce a wide range of materials, from digital assets to print collateral.
What you'll be doing
Design and Production
- Designing and producing high-quality graphics for multi-channel campaigns
- Creating and managing print materials, including brochures, signage, and branded goods
- Coordinate with production vendors to procure estimates, develop production artwork, review proofs, and QA final deliverables
Project Management
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
- Work with the Art Director to manage and streamline resources, including file and server management and organization and brand architecture
Teamwork and Collaboration

What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years of Graphic Designer-level experience.
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates design thinking, creativity, organization, and production skills.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience (portfolio) may be qualifying.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Graphic Design, or related field preferred)

- Photography and videography, video editing, animation experience.
- Experience with WordPress.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
- Project management in Asana.
Knowledge and Skills
- Superb attention to details across many disciplines - writing, design, video, brand alignment, motion, etc.
- Reliable self-starter who can provide support for multiple projects with minimal oversight.
- Excited to explore new thinking and expand creative interpretations of the brand expression to meet ever-changing organizational needs.
- Proven production, design, and project management skills.
- Excellent and professional oral and written communication, coordination and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Experience with: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, PremierePro, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Word)
