UMO Route Driver - Class B

EcoLube Recovery, a Pacific Northwest owned and operated company, is seeking a dedicated UMO Route Driver - Class B to join our team in Boise, ID. As a Route Driver, you will operate a Class B tanker truck within an assigned territory to collect used oil from various commercial and industrial businesses. Responsibilities

• Collect used oil and spent antifreeze from tanks and totes.
• Organize route service events efficiently, including call-in services.
• Communicate regularly with Customer Service/Dispatch throughout the day.
• Make scheduled stops at various customer locations, including Call-In service requests.
• Perform field testing and collect samples to ensure used oil quality.
• Measure tanks to record or verify quantities loaded.
• Complete all required customer and DOT paperwork accurately.
• Engage with prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products or services.
• Address and resolve service complaints, involving management when necessary.
• Unload truck at the assigned ELR facility daily.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational order of the collection truck.
• Comply with all ELR safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Act professionally towards customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years’ experience driving Class A or B vehicles preferred.
• 1-2 years of route-based driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Basic operating knowledge of computers, including basic Office suite.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to drive and operate equipment.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move more than 75lbs.
