EcoLube Recovery, a Pacific Northwest owned and operated company, is seeking a dedicated UMO Route Driver - Class B to join our team in Boise, ID. As a Route Driver, you will operate a Class B tanker truck within an assigned territory to collect used oil from various commercial and industrial businesses. Responsibilities
- Collect used oil and spent antifreeze from tanks and totes.
- Organize route service events efficiently, including call-in services.
- Communicate regularly with Customer Service/Dispatch throughout the day.
- Make scheduled stops at various customer locations, including Call-In service requests.
- Perform field testing and collect samples to ensure used oil quality.
- Measure tanks to record or verify quantities loaded.
- Complete all required customer and DOT paperwork accurately.
- Engage with prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products or services.
- Address and resolve service complaints, involving management when necessary.
- Unload truck at the assigned ELR facility daily.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational order of the collection truck.
- Comply with all ELR safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Act professionally towards customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years’ experience driving Class A or B vehicles preferred.
- 1-2 years of route-based driving experience highly preferred.
- Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Basic operating knowledge of computers, including basic Office suite.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to drive and operate equipment.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move more than 75lbs.
