Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing data quality solutions using Informatica IDQ, along with strong knowledge of data governance and data profiling.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data quality solutions using Informatica IDQ
- Conduct data profiling, cleansing, matching, and transformation
- Develop IDQ mappings, workflows, rules, scorecards, and dashboards
- Collaborate with data stewards, analysts, and business teams to identify quality rules
- Troubleshoot IDQ jobs and performance tune them
- Maintain metadata and documentation for data quality processes
- Support data governance initiatives by ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Work closely with ETL/MDM/Data Warehouse teams for integration and validation
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience in Informatica tools with at least 3 years in Informatica IDQ
- Strong experience in data profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization, and matching
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and integration with IDQ
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with data governance, data stewardship, and master data management (MDM)
- Hands-on with performance tuning and exception handling
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks and best practices
- Strong communication and documentation skills
