Job Description:
We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer with Data Reverse Engineering experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database development, optimization, and analysis, along with the ability to reverse-engineer complex database structures to extract meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business applications.
- Perform data reverse engineering to analyze and document existing database structures, relationships, and dependencies.
- Work with large datasets and handle data migration, transformation, and integration across different systems.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and implement database solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, query inefficiencies, and performance bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong experience in Data Reverse Engineering, including analyzing and restructuring database schemas.
- Proficiency in SQL performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling tools (such as Erwin, Toad Data Modeler, or similar).
- Experience in ETL processes, data migration, and transformation techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex database systems and document findings effectively.
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services, banking, or insurance domains.
- Knowledge of cloud-based databases such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
- Familiarity with Python, Java, or other scripting languages for data processing.
