Job Description : Electrical Engineer
Overview of the Position : ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide supportive services for our client. This position will be performed on site and telework may be authorized.
The ECOMPEX career position supports the following :
- Conduct review of vessel design electrical plan review activities and highlight deficiencies in submittals, including any missing information or actions that require special attention.
- Conduct calculations to ensure compliance, verify arrangements against design standards, and research component specifications through internet searches of publicly available information.
- Provide decision making executives with draft recommendations and supporting justifications for design plans.
- Perform QA / QC and peer review for vessel design electrical plans prior to submission to executives.
- Track all electrical plan review information utilizing the client's database.
- Maintain up-to-date information that outlines the progress and status of each plan review.
- Manage the storage and record maintenance of electrical plan reviews.
- Provide customer service support to answer inquiries, from various means, concerning the status of electrical reviews.
Minimum Qualifications :
Primary work location : Washington, DC / Telework may be authorized
Travel Expectations : Travel is not required for this position.
Position Type : On-site / Remote Work Schedule, Salaried position.
