Work-life balance for essential workers: EMPath offers to a four-day work week for all direct services roles, 4 days of 9-hour schedule for most direct service roles where staffing levels allow. The evening shift is 7am to 4 pm.

Pay transparency: This hourly role has multiple shifts available (currently hiring for mornings, part-time mornings and evenings). Hourly rates start at $21.37- $22.97 depending on skill and experience.

- Daily Shelter Support: Ensure safety and maintain operational procedures, including managing house logs, overseeing participant activities, and liaising with resources or external partners.
- Participant Engagement: Collaborate closely with Economic Mobility Coaches to help participants achieve their goals through motivation and strengths-based support.
- Program Support: Contribute to family programming, initiatives, and special projects that foster a supportive and enriching environment.
We’re looking for compassionate, motivated individuals with a drive to make a difference. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A strong passion for working with diverse populations, including those experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse, or mental health challenges.
- Excellent emotional intelligence and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Sharp problem-solving skills, keen observation, and sound judgment in decision-making.
- Bilingual Skills: Fluency in Haitian Creole required
- Educational Background: An Associate’s Degree in human services, child welfare, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
