Job Description
The Early Head Start Teacher plans, organizes, and implements the operational and physical aspects of the Early Head Start classroom in Noel; including setting up the classroom and developing lesson plans to implement the educational program. The Early Head Start Teacher works with children, parents and staff to ensure that education and early childhood development activities are conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws as well as program and agency requirements.
Requirements
At a minimum, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential and have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development. This position is subject to drug screen and background checks.
