What we are Looking For:
Highly motivated team member who provides an easy, seamless shopping experience by ensuring carts are always available to customers and helps load purchases into vehicles.
What you will be doing:
• Create a welcoming experience by genuinely greeting all guests and providing them a cart.
• Ensure that all shopping carts and flatbeds are cleared from the parking lot and placed in their designated area. Ensure carts are always available to customers.
• Remove trash, disinfect, and sanitize each shopping cart and flatbed after each use.
• Maintain the parking lot in a clean and presentable manner free of all debris throughout the day.
• Assist customers as needed to include loading their purchases into their vehicles.
• Evaluate cart condition and request maintenance.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Bilingual
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to work outdoors in various climates.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
• Frequently required to stand and walk.
• Occasionally required to sit.
• Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
• Occasionally required to climb ladders, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel.
• Frequently required to talk or hear.
• Continually work near moving mechanical parts
• Occasionally work in high, precarious places
• Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Frequently required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds and up to 80 pounds.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme cold temperatures ranging from -10˚ to 40˚.
• Performs other related physical duties as assigned by management.
