Gate Automation Specialist/Project Manager – Mukilteo WA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Automation sales team to coordinate and install fence & gate automation projects.
• Coordinate with sales team, in-house fabricators, outside powder-coaters, contractors and suppliers to efficiently prepare automation projects for scheduling.
• Communicate throughout the process with customers to provide periodic updates on progress of project.
• Work with individual installation crews to manage and execute the installation process. Includes jobsite visits and inspections.
• Track & document all labor hours, purchase orders and expenses to assist with job costing process.
• Ability to manage many different personality types and help to keep all persons focused on a positive customer experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum 3 years experience in gate automation industry. Preferred combination of installation and project management experience.
• Current WA State Class 10 Specialty license (low voltage) at minimum, Class 01 Master Electrician is a Plus.
• Ability to manage multiple automation projects simultaneously.
• Good organization and communication skills a must.
• Exceptional customer service and problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational capacity.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Advanced knowledge of construction processes, means and methods.
• Excellent computer knowledge and skill level in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Outlook.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills using English language.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans.
• Must have a valid Washington State driver’s license and a favorable driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid insurance.
• Detail oriented and excellent time management skills.
• Able to maintain a good working relationship with all employees and customers.
• Competent in conflict management and resolution.
