Gate Automation Specialist/Project Manager – Mukilteo WA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Automation sales team to coordinate and install fence & gate automation projects.
- Coordinate with sales team, in-house fabricators, outside powder-coaters, contractors and suppliers to efficiently prepare automation projects for scheduling.
- Communicate throughout the process with customers to provide periodic updates on progress of project.
- Work with individual installation crews to manage and execute the installation process. Includes jobsite visits and inspections.
- Track & document all labor hours, purchase orders and expenses to assist with job costing process.
- Ability to manage many different personality types and help to keep all persons focused on a positive customer experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum 3 years experience in gate automation industry. Preferred combination of installation and project management experience.
- Current WA State Class 10 Specialty license (low voltage) at minimum, Class 01 Master Electrician is a Plus.
- Ability to manage multiple automation projects simultaneously.
- Good organization and communication skills a must.
- Exceptional customer service and problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong organizational capacity.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Advanced knowledge of construction processes, means and methods.
- Excellent computer knowledge and skill level in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Outlook.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills using English language.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans.
- Must have a valid Washington State driver’s license and a favorable driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid insurance.
- Detail oriented and excellent time management skills.
- Able to maintain a good working relationship with all employees and customers.
- Competent in conflict management and resolution.
