Job Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and organized Construction Project Administrator to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis during an active project. This role is critical for maintaining project schedules, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and keeping the project on track. While experience in the construction industry is preferred, we welcome candidates with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tight timelines. The position has potential for extension depending on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Coordination :

  • Support the Project Manager and Project Engineer in tracking schedules and meeting milestones.
  • Coordinate communication between subcontractors, vendors, and project team members.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth project execution.

Document Management :

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, progress updates, and correspondence.
  • Task Monitoring :

  • Track tasks assigned to team members and follow up on deliverables.
  • Escalate delays or issues to the Project Manager as needed.
  • Communication :

  • Act as the administrative point of contact for the project.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication among stakeholders to prevent misunderstandings or delays.
  • Support and Coordination :

  • Coordinate site visits, inspections, and deliveries as required.
  • Provide general assistance to the project team to ensure successful project completion.
  • Qualifications and Skills :

    Required Skills :

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and quick to learn new processes.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with construction processes and terminology is a plus.
  • Experience with project management tools or software (e.g., Procore) is helpful but not required.
  • Technical Proficiency :

  • Basic proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Experience and Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous administrative experience, especially in construction, is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Key Attributes :

  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Compensation :

    Competitive hourly rate based on experience and construction knowledge.
