We are looking for an experienced SMT Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our growing manufacturing team.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes production data
- Monitor yields and assists with root cause analysis if the yield drops below target
- Create Setups in Nexim
- Perform basic SMT equipment maintenance
- Perform visual inspection of PCB assemblies per IPC-A-610 using a microscope
- Train new machine operators
- Provide technical support on PCBA production equipment as needed
- Advanced equipment maintenance (Fuji Head maintenance & PAM software) a plus.
- Equipment troubleshooting using mechanical drawings and schematics
- Train and mentor machine operators to ensure proper, safe and efficient equipment operation
- Associate’s degree in technical-related field and/or Military Electronics training OR prior Technician experience
Experience
- At least 3 years of equipment technician experience (preferably in semiconductor or SMT manufacturing environment)
- Strong mechanical and electronic knowledge/skills
- Proficiency in use of computers, including MS Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
