Wildlife Removal Technician

ecoPRO Wildlife Solutions is looking for a highly motivated individual to perform nuisance wildlife inspections, removal and exclusions around the greater Kansas City Metro. You will be an integral member of a team that delivers quality, dedicated service. We are looking to hire an individual with notable time-management and troubleshooting skills. Candidates with previous work experience in carpentry, roofing, pest management, or animal control will be prioritized.

ecoPRO Wildlife Solutions is a locally owned and operated wildlife removal service provider for the Kansas City area, providing fast, professional, and humane solutions for nuisance animal problems. In addition to animal trapping and removal, we also offer exclusion repair work, clean-up and sanitization, attic restoration, and other services!

An average day as a Wildlife Management Technician includes:

• Inspecting customer's home or business to identify any wildlife issues and determine the best plan of action.

• Safely trapping, handling, and relocating wildlife in accordance with local regulations and humane practices.

• Developing a management plan using knowledge of wildlife behavior and biology.

• Applying wildlife control and management techniques using a variety of equipment such as, but not limited to: sprays, bait stations, and traps.

• Carrying out wildlife exclusion repairs, involving drywall, blown in insulation, roof work, and the use of ladders up to 40 feet.

• Working at different job sites and travel across the KC Metro as needed.

Requirements to be a Nuisance Wildlife Technician:

• Ability to work in small and potentially cramped spaces such as attics and crawl spaces. * Must be able to work on ladders. * Ability to work outside for extended periods of time. * Must be able to frequently kneel, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, work at significant heights, and work in environments with extreme temperatures. * Good communication skills. * Attention to details. * Willingness to learn about local wildlife, their behaviors, and safe handling procedures. * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. * Ability to pass a background check, including a drug test.

All employees will be trained to pass the Kansas State Nuisance Animal Removal license. The cost of the test preparation, training expenses, and licensure will be covered by ecoPRO Wildlife Solutions.
