We are a rapidly expanding organization committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement. We are looking for a new Continuous Improvement Engineer to help us transform with structure, standardization, and Lean methodologies. Join us in shaping a culture where continuous improvement is the foundation of everything we do. Internally, we call this role Lean Master Engineer.
Continuous Improvement Engineer Salary Range: $81,000 - $110,000, based on experience
Travel: approximately 10-20% domestic travel to our other manufacturing plants.
Core Contributions:
Lead and implement Lean transformation initiatives across departments to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Facilitate Kaizen events, 5S audits, and Value Stream Mapping sessions to identify and eliminate waste in processes.
Mentor and train team members on Lean principles, tools, and techniques, ensuring long-term adoption and sustainability.
Analyze operations and identify key areas of improvement using Lean methodologies such as DMAIC, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans for continuous improvement plans alignment with organizational goals.
Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and implementation of process improvements that enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to measure progress and drive continuous improvement.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to promote consistent practices.
Conduct regular assessments of Lean initiatives to measure success, identify areas for refinement, and ensure scalability of improvements.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by providing coaching, feedback, and encouragement to employees.
Partner with senior leadership to ensure the integration of Lean principles into the organization's strategic planning and decision-making.
Essential Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or higher) preferred
7 years of experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement roles, preferably in manufacturing or operations
Deep expertise in Lean principles, tools, and techniques, including Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
Experience leading successful Lean transformation initiatives and driving measurable results
