What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator, 1st Shift position at Ecore International?
We are looking for a 1st-Shift, Machine Operator to join our Lancaster, PA team! You will be a key part in making our high-performance upcycled rubber products - Join us in our mission to rid the world of rubber waste!
1st Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm, with occasional overtime on Saturdays
Pay Range: starting at $18.00/hour and up, based on experience. Potential increase after 90-day evaluation.
Core Contributions:
Safety & Team Coordination:
Prioritize personal safety and the safety of team members
Empowered to act and stop work if unsafe conditions are observed
Start each shift with a team huddle and stretches
Machine Operations:
Set up machine at the beginning of each shift
Work with materials and machines, following standard procedures
Take manual measurements to ensure high quality
Training & Cross-Training:
Participate in regular training sessions
Cross-train others to enhance team capabilities
Machine Operator Essential Experiences:
High school diploma, GED, and/or 4 years of experience
Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. depending on the area you’re assigned
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Salary : $18
