What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Technician, 2nd Shift position at Ecore International?
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician (internally called Tire Technician) to join our new Newville, PA locations! As a Tire Technician, you will be an in-house tire expert, learning how to identify tires that can be refurbished and those that can be upcycled. You will operate machinery to repairs tires and ensure high quality tires go out to our customers.
2nd Shift hours: Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12am
Tire Technician Pay: $22-$24/hour (based on experience)Core Contributions:
Prioritize your personal safety and the safety of your teammates. You are empowered to act and stop work if you see something unsafe.
Visually inspect, repair, regroove, pressure test, and paint tires with one last final inspection before going to the customer.
Operate machinery and perform general preventive maintenance. Collaborate with maintenance on larger issues.
Setup, operate, troubleshoot, adjust machine settings.
Operate a forklift to move and transport tires.
Organize work area to maintain a safe, efficient, productive and clean work area by using air wands, vacuums, brooms and shovels.
Essential Experiences:
High school diploma, 4 years of machine operator or tire technician experience
6 months of forklift experience
Front end loader experience preferred
Experience working with measurements and basic math
Past tire technician experience operating equipment of similar complexity is helpful
Valid driver’s license preferred
Salary : $22 - $24
