What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler, 1st-Shift position at Ecore International?
We are excited to welcome a Material Handler (internally known as a RT-Bagger) to our Mexia, TX team!
1st Shift Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm, Friday 6a-2:30p, with occasional overtime
Salary Range: Starting at $18.00/hr and up, based on experience
Core Contributions:
Safety & Team Coordination:
Prioritize personal safety and the safety of team members
Empowered to act and stop work if unsafe conditions are observed
Start each shift with a team huddle and stretches
Material Handling
Stacking and palletizing
Training & Cross-Training:
Participate in regular training sessions
Cross-train others to enhance team capabilities
Machine Operator Essential Experiences:
High school diploma, GED, or 4 years of experience
Willingness to learn and operate a variety of machines
Must be able to lift 50-70 lbs. depending on the area you’re assigned
Must be able to safely drive a forklift
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
