What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk position at Ecore International?
We are excited to welcome a 2nd-shift Shipping Clerk (internally called Shipping and Tire Inspector) to join our new Newville, PA location.
Pay: Starting at $21/hr and up, based on experienceCore Contributions:
Operate yard truck for trailer swaps and yard moves safely.
Load/unload vans using forklifts/clamp truck
Inspect tires to assess condition: sell, repair, or scrap.
Collect and sign Bills of Lading from drivers.
Work with production to supply correct materials to meet demands.
Maintain a clean shipping area, dock, and storage yard.
Operate magnet and sweeper to prevent metal/rubber buildup.
Submit maintenance requests
Assemble Orders – package – wrap and strap – weigh pallets
Essential Experiences:
High School Diploma/GED and/or 4 years of relevant experience.
1 years of recent forklift/clamp truck experience.
Ability to multitask, adapt, and work under pressure.
Proficient in basic math and reading units of measure.
Strong communication skills and computer proficiency; ERP experience preferred.
Salary : $21
