What are the responsibilities and job description for the Off Road Dump Truck Operator position at EcoSouth?
Operate heavy equipment, to excavate, lift, move, and grade earth. We are actively seeking to hire someone for the Off Road Dump Truck Operator position. Candidates will be responsible for inspecting equipment before and after they use it, loading and unloading cargo, and moving materials from one area to another. All equipment operators must follow company and governmental safety guidelines at all times.
Compensation:$16 - $18 hourly
Responsibilities:- Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment
- Dump truck operators are required to maintain their equipment on a day-to-day basis
- Must be very observant and able to receive and follow instructions from supervisors
- Ensure the work area is safe and compliant at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work
- Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards
- 1 year Experience operating heavy equipment
