- This role will be based out of Houston, TX or Baton Rouge, LA working a hybrid schedule. Ability to travel about 30% is required. **
- Assist with all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with department managers to create detailed and accurate job descriptions, hiring criteria and interviewing team.
- Identify and implement efficient recruiting methods and strategies tailored to each role.
- Facilitate and manage job postings and advertisement processes.
- Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews and oversee the preparation of interview materials.
- Conduct interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process, recommending salary ranges, incentives, and start dates.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Participate and coordinate an internship program
- Participate in the planning of onsite and offsite Internship & University Relations recruitment events
- Perform other special projects and assigned duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A min of 4 years manufacturing recruitment experience preferably in the chemical or oil/gas industry.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for various roles.
- Proactive and independent, taking initiative to drive results.
- Excellent time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and recruitment best practices.
- Proficiency with applicant-tracking software or the ability to quickly learn such systems. ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
