JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION
ECRS is looking for a quality-oriented, deadline-driven marketing intern for the Spring and Summer of 2025, with the potential to extend through Summer 2026. As an intern, you will collaborate with the ECRS Marketing Team to achieve objectives across various marketing functions, including digital marketing support, trade show and event planning and execution, marketing campaign planning and execution, social media management, and content creation. The highlight of this internship is the execution of our annual conference, hosting over 250 customers, prospects, and partners for three days of education and events from July 14-16 in Minneapolis, MN. By the end of the internship, you will have measurable achievements and, based on performance, a notable reference to kickstart your career. This internship will equip you with marketing skills and knowledge of various B2B marketing strategies, preparing you for any fast-paced work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies, with a strong focus on SEO to improve website rankings and visibility.
- Assist with managing paid search efforts, including campaign setup, monitoring, and reporting on performance.
- Support the marketing team in managing and optimizing social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows and events, including the annual conference.
- Collaborate with team members to create compelling digital content, including blog posts, landing pages, and marketing materials.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform content creation and digital marketing strategies.
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
- Support maintenance of our client-facing online store, CATAPULT WebStore.
- Assist with managing databases and CRM system.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, particularly SEO and online advertising.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and social media management tools, are preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design or content creation tools is a plus (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and contributing to projects.
PAY/TIME COMMITMENT
- This is a career internship, and we expect a commitment to being present, punctual, and effectively executing weekly duties.
- This internship is a paid internship based on successfully completing responsibilities.
- The internship will require a time commitment of 15-30 hours per week from start date to May 12, 2025, with increased hours of 25-40 hours/week from May 13 - August 20, 2025.
- This internship includes a travel requirement of July 11-17 during the annual Ignite Retail Success Conference.
