Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Physicians, ensuring patients receive high-quality, respectful, and efficient care. This role involves both clinical and administrative duties, helping to create a positive and supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare staff to implement patient care plans.
- Observe, record, and report changes in patients’ health status or behavior.
- Assist in wound care, catheterization, injections, and other nursing procedures.
- Collect specimens for lab tests and assist in diagnostic testing.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following infection control protocols.
- Support emotional and physical comfort for patients throughout their care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and facility policies.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for the state of Florida .
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
- Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
