Job Summary:

ECS Commercial Cleaning is seeking a mid-shift cleaner to perform general and specialized cleaning tasks to cover all areas of the surgery center. Areas of cleaning include patient exam rooms, surgical terminals, offices, breakrooms, bathrooms, common areas, etc. Prior cleaning experience is required as well as a proven history of working well independently.

Candidates must have their own vehicle to reliably transport to the job location and be able to successfully pass FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance, and federal background check. Candidates will be responsible for paying for these clearances but would be reimbursed if employed with ECS for at least 60 days.

Schedule/Compensation:

Monday-Friday

10 am- 6 pm (no flexibility in shift start and end time)

Pay: $17-$18/hr/bi weekly pay

Essential Functions:

• Ensure an overall detailed clean of assigned areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.).
• Sanitize all surgical terminals using appropriate cleaning chemicals/supplies.
• Wipe down patient beds and mattresses.
• Sanitize any carts, electronic equipment, cabinets, and furniture.
• Sanitize all fixtures (light switches, door handles, push plates, phones, etc.)
• Empty trash and linens.
• Clean all windows and glass.
• Clean and detail bathrooms. Bathroom cleaning focuses on sinks, urinals, stalls, walls, sinks/fixtures, ceiling vents, etc.
• Clean common areas (lobby area, break room, kitchen).
• Office cleaning (emptying trash, dusting chairs/computers, wiping down desks).
• Keep all supply closets stocked and organized. Communicate with customer as to supplies needed.
• Sanitizing and maintaining employee locker rooms.

Other Requirements:

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance in alignment with the company or specific location attendance policy.
• Execute all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards/procedures as set forth by the company, clients, and or regulatory authorities (OSHA).
• Communicate any structural deficiencies, safety hazards, cleanliness issues, or maintenance issues to your direct report and/or client.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Perform detailed cleaning in confined spaces.
