Job Summary:

ECS Commercial Cleaning is seeking a highly detailed and motivated cleaner for a food manufacturing facility in York, PA.

** The ideal candidate for this role must be willing to work in an ambient temperature environment, confined spaces, and conditions that would entail cleaning up hydraulic fluid, oils, debris, and food spills.

Employees will be required to provide their own steel-toed boots prior to their first day of work. Other safety PPE will be provided as necessary.**

Schedule/Compensation:

Monday-Friday

7 am- 3 pm

Pay: $17.50/hr/bi weekly pay

Essential Functions: (Some functions will vary based on the assigned area of the facility)

• Maintain all sanitization standards set forth by the customer in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Wipe down all automated systems machinery.
• Sweep and scrub floors including outside areas.
• Maintain equipment daily by cleaning out brushes and washing equipment.
• Pick up debris.
• Empty trash cans.
• Clean up food spills.
• Dust racks, doors, and lights.
• Sweep and mop pick slots.

Other Requirements:

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance in alignment with the company or specific location attendance policy.
• Ensure compliance with federal guidelines and regulations regarding accuracy, safety, and productivity.
• Communicate any structural deficiencies, safety hazards, cleanliness issues, or maintenance issues to your direct report and/or client.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Perform detailed cleaning in confined spaces.
• Strong sense of time management.
• Ability to treat internal and external customers with respect and integrity.
